I m s23FE user, I can say you can go for it as now a days it have great price discounts. Phone is good in normal daily use. battery go for 6-7 hr SOT. Heating was there but after 6.1 update it is very much controlled (somewhat heating is there but user can ignore it, not excessive heating). Camera is best in range.
But in my Opinion as you mentioned Your requirements I will suggest u also check New launched A55. Coz in performance & camera S23Fe is better but in battery life A55 is better since it have 5000mah battery & exynos 1480 in it is battery efficient chipset.

The Phone Is Good In Every Aspect Except Battery 🔋 of Galaxy S23 FE.
As Per Your Mother Need Is Youtube,WhatsApp,Call Etc Will Work Fine As It Had Good Processor But The Battery Is 4500mah Which is Less.
You Can Check The Galaxy A35 5g Which is Not As Good Like Galaxy S23 FE But Still It Will Fulfil Your Mother Needs Nad Battery Is Also Good.
The Feature is More In Galaxy S23 FE But Galaxy A35 5g Also Have Plenty of Feature
So You Can Go With Samsung Galaxy A35 5g.

In Camera Factor 📷 S23 FE Is Better But A35 5G Have Also Nice Camera But Misses A Telephpto Lens And Selfi Is Good!
