One UI 8.5 Beta Is Closer Than Expected – See What’s Coming

Samsung is progressing with the One UI 8.5 Beta, and things are moving closer to launch. I’ve shared a short summary here on Samsung Members, but I’ve posted the full compact update on my new Twitter account.

Samsung galaxy m34

The Galaxy M34 should definitely receive the One UI 8.5 update, but not this year. One UI 8.5 will officially debut with the Galaxy S26 series, and only after that will other devices start getting it. Right now, Samsung hasn’t shared any confirmed dates. The only expectation is that the Galaxy S25 Ultra series may get the Beta version at the end of November or early December. I’ll share any official date or new rumor as soon as it appears, so stay tuned!

Galaxy a26 Galaxy a14

The Galaxy A26 is expected to get One UI 8.5 next year after the Galaxy S26 series launches. But the Galaxy A14 isn’t eligible for One UI 8, so it won’t receive One UI 8.5 either. If Samsung shares anything official, I’ll update it here.
