One UI 3.0 - Display stays on draining battery with Google Home screen mirroring

Updated my phone with One UI 3.0 yesterday and noticed same issue. Smart View casting to TV removed and it ONLY can be done from Google Home now. 

Also, biggest issue is when casting from Google Home, screen display stays ON all the time draining battery 🔋 like hell. 

Smart View to TV feature used to turn off the display and save the battery; only when screen is touched display used to turn back on again. 

Pretty much basic feature that needs immediate attention. Please look into it ASAP Samsung.

True. The new update is a **bleep**.
I bought a Samsung m30s considering the smart view option as it is much easily accessible, but now this no more.
Bring back the smart view option is the only solution. Otherwise, time to throw a Samsung handset.
