Why phones & tablets isn't supporting 3 & 5TB HDD of Seagate coz that's a bummer for so long now. As even the given option of formatting the drive by you, isn't completely giving the full size of the drive just some GBs so plz make em' supportive not just to 5TB, maybe even higher coz why not when there's tons of TBs out to buy.

I think its due to the output voltage from the connecting port. Its not that enough to power the hdd.

Of course, there's a reason @MrGEEK but what I'm saying is that other brands non-flagships even tablets supports it & I really need it coz I've a flagship which isn't giving me the power to even access my drives on my most daily using device & Samsung isn't looking into it at all so I'm doubting brand in some ways that it's not capable to do much when it comes to reality & it's not 1st time I'm mentioning this to them maybe they just don't wanna do anything bout' it.

Its just that very few people demand this feature, since smartphones now comes with 128, 256 and 512 gb variant. But yeah always an added option is welcome. You can suggest this is their new round of features suggestion.

Also @MrGEEK, my 3TB has it's own power source itself so then devices wouldn't have to give its power means it should work but it isn't the case as I've asked their agents & at stores & what they told me is that they even don't exactly know why this's happening as they've not given any info. on it by Samsung so they think that it's coz of KNOX or policy's restrictions, that's why I'm bummed.
