 please someone tell me what this feature does? [I opened the recent apps window and held and released tge app icon on top of theapp window] (It has nothing to do with 's secure' or securing the app by a pattern or whatever)

If You Lock Your App Then It Will Not Remove From Recent App
Expect You Remove Using Swipe Up

If Issue is Solved, Tap on 3 Dot and Accept Solution

If the app is removed by swiping up, then what's the use of it?

Please put some light upon it.

After locking the app it will remain in recent tab even by swiping up also won't remove untill you unlock again.
