I had an ipad mini before. It was a version of 2013, I used it till last year october ending. It is not that it stopped working so I swtiched, it was working fine, not issues. The reason I changed was that I was not able to download google apps and some more apps. It showed you need to update to atleast IOS 10 to use this app and there were not only google apps that had this problem many other apps also had this problem. I could not update to IOS 10 because my device was old and that is why it did not get IOS 10. The version my ipad mini was on was IOS 9.3.5. To even watch youtube, I had to open youtube in Safari. Then corona came, so then we had to do online school. Since, I could not intsall google apps and apple does not let download APK's, I had to use another method to download google apps. So, that worked, I could download Google, chrome, meet, gmail and google calendar. But there was a problem, I had to install all the apps to the version that was old and by old I mean 4 to 5 years old, so yes, it had this problem. Then for classes, I had to download classroom to enter the meetings. I had to use that through safari which took alot of time and I had to enter the same account every time I used classroom. For google meet, I could not screen share since it was the older version. That older version did not support screen sharing and many times I could not join meetings I dont know why. It showed failed to join meetings. Then I bought this tab in october ending last year. To do my school and stuff. I did not switch before because my ipad had no issues no display problems, no speaker problems absolutely nothing. So that is why I switched to android later. It was alos because apple products were expensive.
