Innovation Lab #48: Notifications

Our community is brimming with ideas through which we can make your Galaxy experience better! Share your suggestions directly with our teams through Innovation Lab.  Your feedback will be scrutinized to produce possible improvements in customer experience.

This week, we would like to look into Notifications. This would include almost everything about the usability of app notifications such as allowing sound and vibration, silent notification, types of notification pop up, notification style, do not disturb usability, notification icons, notification history, snoozing and cancelling notifications, lock screen notifications and many more.

So, the topics are:

1. Notifications: User experience of setting and receiving app notifications

All you need to do is:

1. Create a post detailing your idea/suggestion
2. Include illustrations/diagrams/images or any detail you feel will help us understand it better

Try to restrict unnecessary background processes, please try to reduce the steps to select an object in a picture and remove background, add a feature to copy text from a vedio, try to improve the thermal stability of existing exynos 2100 or previous phones through Ota update

First Remove All Bugs in Present Devices.

1. I am Facing Video Recording Serious Issues While i Shoot Videos at FHD60 and AUTO FPS Option is ON.

2. Camera Photo Images Processing Not Good.

3. Google Play System Update stuck at 1 July 2022.

4. Battery Backup Not Improve.

5. Send Error Report Not working in Samsung Members App.

I will find iphone bro if Problems and Bugs will not solved in S22 Ultra because Xiaomi 12S Ultra Not Launched in India. Waiting for Vivo X90 Pro Plus or Ultra Varient or Xiaomi 13 Ultra Varient.

Make a setting that allows us to create a group of apps and change settings of all at once.
Like turn off notifications for multiple not all apps, or clear data or cache of multiple apps. Also why do i have to tap yes again and again when unstalling multiple apps? I chose them cause I wanted to uninstall them so why confirm again and again.

Notification panel is already good, but i wish for a media playback Notification like that of stock android, the one present in one UI currently is too plain and not much interesting.
Also, I think it would be better if the size of the clock in the panel is bigger than it currently is.
The Quick panel always apears in the middle when used in landscape mode, I think it would be good if the panel appeared to the right, left or in the middle depending on where the user swipes

We should have more easy one button click to stop all notifications across all apps and allow exceptions with so many apps around notifications have become a distraction and working around is would be helpful

Recently I have seen one video about samsung batteries 🔋 it shows that when cell not in use it got swollen and maybe chance of blast so little bit worried about my FOLD 4 so it's my humble request to you seriously look on this matter
