There are several methods, chose according to your device

1)Traditional method

volume down+ power button together

2)Use Accessibility>Interaction and Dexterity>Assistant menu feature

3)Use one hand operation+(check if your device is compatible or not)

4)Palm swipe to capture
settings>advanced features>motion and gestures>enable palm swipe

I think your device is on quarterly security update list..still confirm from customer support or visit service center and tell them to flash latest software of your device..
