Samsung’s Secure Folder is a built-in privacy feature 🔐 that allows you to store apps, 🖼️ photos, videos, and documents securely📂. It uses Samsung Knox security to keep your data protected.
Here’s how to use it👇:

How to Set Up Secure Folder 📁:
Samsung Secure Folder
1. Open Secure Folder📂
Go to Settings > Security & Privacy > Secure Folder (or search "Secure Folder" in settings).
2. Sign in to Samsung Account📄
You need a Samsung account to use Secure Folder. If you don’t have one, create it.
3. Set Up Security🔐
Choose a lock method: Pattern, PIN, Password, or Biometrics (Fingerprint/Face Unlock).
How to Use Secure Folder
📌Add Apps: Open Secure Folder > Tap “+” to add apps. This creates a private version of the app inside Secure Folder.
📌Add Files: Open Secure Folder > Tap “Add files” to move photos, videos, documents, etc., into it.
Move Files to Secure Folder:
Open Gallery (or File Manager), select files, tap More Options (⋮) > Move to Secure Folder.
Access Hidden Data: Open Secure Folder, enter your password, and access private files and apps.
📍Extra Tips🙌:
- Hide Secure Folder: Go to Secure Folder settings > Turn off Show icon on Apps screen (Access via settings or Quick Panel).
- Auto-Lock Secure Folder: Set it to lock immediately, after screen off, or after a set time.
- Backup & Restore: Secure Folder data can be backed up with your Samsung account.

If Samsung focuses on securing UPI payment apps in "Secure Folder" then no app can be more secure than "Secure Folder".

The apps in the secure folder are shown in the battery history. If the apps in the secure folder cannot be hidden, then how to stop or hide them from being shown in the battery usage history?
