Bro, quite simple..just swipe from the side(bottom) edges..also read the highlighted area in the attached screenshot..

try with these settings bro.. im not getting.. I get it when I select swipe from bottom and with the gesture Hint on.. if I keep gesture Hint off, the Google assistant doesn't wake.

You are talking about single gesture swipe or 3 line gesture..in single swipe gesture just swipe from the edges..bottom screen k side edges se diagonally swipe karo..turant open hoga assistant menu..and in 3 line swipe..middle one ko upar ki taraf swipe kark hold karo..

Yeah gesture hint is off in mine case..I think you are using first option i. e swipe from the bottom,with gesture hint off..just swipe in the middle and hold it..
