After 23 April 2020 the Samsung Gallery app is crashing when details of any image is being checked. I have also faced the same situation. Then I checked play store if any new update availabe. There was no new upadate availabe after 13 February. Then I checked some reviews that they have update the gallery app on 24 April. So, I checked some unofficial websites where there was a update of 31 March, hence, I updated the app. But, no, the crashing didn't fixed. So, I uninstall the update as it was not from any trusted source. And surprisingly the crashing stopped. I am not a tech expart but thought to share this to you, so, any tech expert can ressolve the problem minutely.
In my opnion if you have updated the gallery app with the update rather than the 13 February (which was officially given by the Samsung company) then uninstall the update and it will fix for a reason.
