Last month, Samsung announced the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 pre-beta program for developers. It was announced for the Galaxy S20 series users in the US and Korea.

The pre-beta One UI 3.0 build has now started rolling out to the developers using the Galaxy S20 series devices. The company is currently testing compatibility with carriers and device variants.

Everyone is asking a question —

Here’s what you need to know about Samsung One UI 3.0 – After the One UI 3.0 pre-beta rollout in the US and Korea, the company is set to start a public beta program in the coming weeks.

The One UI 3.0 beta is currently limited to the Galaxy S20 series users, just like the last year with the Android 10-based One UI 2.0 beta for the Galaxy S10 series. At this moment, these Galaxy devices (with model numbers) will receive the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 beta:

  • Korea (KT / LGU+ / SKT / Unlocked):
    • Galaxy S20 (SM-G981N)
    • Galaxy S20+ (SM-G986N)
    • Galaxy S20 Ultra (SM-G988N)
  • United States (T-Mobile):
    • Galaxy S20 (SM-G981U)
    • Galaxy S20+ (SM-G986U)
    • Galaxy S20 Ultra (SM-G988U)
  • United States (Unlocked):
    • Galaxy S20 (SM-G981U1)
    • Galaxy S20+ (SM-G986U1)
    • Galaxy S20 Ultra (SM-G988U1)

It means if you have the Galaxy S20 series devices in the US and Korea, you will be able to join the beta program.

The company will expand the One UI 3.0 beta program to a total of 7 countries.

In addition, the company will start the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 beta program for the Galaxy Note 20 series, and most likely for the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy S10 series.
