it has been reported that Software Update may not turn on the phone. I had this Experience on my M30s while I Hard reset it,and lost all the data. So have a backup while Updating Software and Then perform so that you can have your Backup At Any Worst Case
I had the same issue in my M31, and got feedback from the customer care to contact service center after the lockdown. pathetic never ever buy any samsung product.
