Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 4.1 update to the carrier-locked models of the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in the US. The new software also brings the March 2022 security patch that fixes over 50 security vulnerabilities in Galaxy devices.

The latest software update for the carrier-locked versions of the Galaxy Note 20 and the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra comes with firmware version N98xUSQU2FVC5. For the Galaxy Z Fold 3’s carrier-locked model in the US, the One UI 4.1 update comes with firmware version F926USQU1CVC5. The updates are available on Comcast and Xfinity Mobile’s networks in the US.

If you are a Galaxy Note 20 series or Galaxy Z Fold 3 user in the US, and if you use any of the carrier networks mentioned above, you can check for the new software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also down the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.

Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z Fold 2 One UI 4.1 features

According to Samsung, the One UI 4.1 update brings Google Duo Live Sharing, Smart Widgets, improved stock apps, Grammarly-equipped Samsung Keyboard, improved Gallery with Reflection Eraser and Shadow Eraser. Other features include an enhanced Color Palette feature, the ability to change Galaxy Watch 4 watch faces via Bixby Routines, and more.

Quick Share can now be used to share Wi-Fi credentials with friends. Samsung has implemented Smart Suggestions across the phone and the ability to share SmartThings Find-compatible devices with others. Samsung Notes and Smart Switch have been improved as well.
