After updating my S10 Lite to Android 11, my battery is getting drained so quickly and the device is getting heated like never before. Is there any solution to this or should I wait until Samsung fix this issue?

I have two S5e tablets that dramatically increased battery drain and run hotter (CPU and Battery) after the Android 11 update. The subsequent update did not correct these issues.

The only way I see to diagnose this problem is to be able to see the tasks running within android and the CPU each is consuming. This ability was removed in Android 10. Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this on Android 11 preferably without rooting?

Using the GPUWatch feature (developer options), I see a 20% CPU load at idle (no foreground app running and in airplane mode. This remains the same in Safe Mode. With WiFi active I also see periodic CPU spikes, some as much as 100%. The implication here is that the problem is within Android (or a part Samsung modified) and not an app issue.

Note on factory resets: Of course a factory reset has a good chance of making the issues go away, temporarily. Once the device updates, you are right back where you started. A factory reset is also dangerous when done by users that do not appreciate the subtle nuances that may cause much grief; for example, Google backup does not backup app data over 25MB in size. Also I would argue that an app that somehow impacts Android op sys performance is a bug in Android and should be addressed there; no app should be allowed to harm the op sys.
