That's 1st beta so definitely it won't be optimised as stable. I think it will improve gradually with more updates.

As you're on the one ui 7 beta 1, it is only slightly optimized in terms of battery rather it is focusing on performance. By getting the one ui 7 beta 2 your battery will improve also if you're more concerned about battery, don't update to beta updates as it is also a risk of data loss.
