Samsung is reportedly planning to switch to MediaTek chipsets for its upcoming Galaxy S series smartphone units which will be sold in Asia. The Korean publication, Business Korea, reports that the upcoming Galaxy S series smartphones, including the Galaxy S22 FE and Galaxy S23, may come with MediaTek chipsets. This is a switch from the Snapdragon or Samsung’s in-house Exynos chipsets it previously used for its premium smartphones range.

This strategy is not bad at all in my opinion. 🙂 Because from the past couple of years, MediaTek has been making amazing flagship SoCs. Their recent Dimensity 9000 actually has a better Geekbench score than the Snap 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200. So Samsung using MediaTek is a really good news. 😊

Heheee🥲. I really don't care about this SoC fiasco. But camera quality should be same. If that's not then it's a problem for me.😂

My idea is same as you ayya. it better, more than Exynos chipsets and currently i saw mediatec chipsets only second to the Apple chipsets, is it right ? 🤔

It's amazing but what about battery life 🔋🤔

That can be change from device to device ne? Cause of battery capacity, screen size, refresh rates and all. I think Dimensity is power efficient one, but not as Apple Bionic. 😉 As far I know, iPhone 13 pro getting insane 10-12 hours battery life 😂
