A long waiting feature of Samsung Notes isShared Notebooks. I’ve been requesting this feature almost for a year. And finally, it’s here! Here’s aquick rundown of All new upgraded Shared Notebooks in Samsung Notes.

All new Samsung Shared Notes

Note: Since this is a Beta release, there can be errors and unexpected behaviors. Please share your feedbacks to improve this feature furthermore.

So to get’s started with Shared Notes, just head to Galaxy Store and update the Samsung Notes toversion 4.4.05.71 and you are good to go. Then open the Shared Notes from the left menu. There you can eitherInvite collaborators orcreate a Shared Note. Or click on the 3-dot menu toCreate a Shared Notebook which is useful to share multiple shared notes with same set of users.(Note: If you have previously shared notes, you can use “Old shared notebooks” to open them)

In this new update, now you are able to invite people using yourcontacts or just sharing them aninvitation link. Which will be tested using the following link.

Inviting users to Notes

You are welcome to join my Shared Notebook to experience this hands on while providing live feedback. (Something is there waiting for you) I’ll share some screenshots later on in the comments to see for others.

Example Shared Notebook

Although Old Shared Notebook supported up to 100 shared users, the latest version limits it to10 people including yourself. Obviously it’s going to be a mess when more than 10 people start to write simultaneously. Though limiting simultaneously editing to 10 users while being able to share and view with up to 100 people would be a great add on for the next update. Additionally some of the features in a standard Note is not available in the Shared Notes, likeErase Area, Straighten Text. May be next time.

All in all, this is a quality life update for the Samsung Notes. Now on students like me can simultaneously work on same lecture/project note with peers without leaving any details. Kudos to Samsung Notes devs❤️

Does the person you are sharing with get notified when something new is added? Is there a way to see if the note was read by the person who was invited?

So we used this feature with other people but at some point the note we use give this notification "Can't edit note because too many other people are already editing it" but none of us were using the note at that time (we're 2 people and we're next to each other when we did that) and still that day, we can't add or remove things. Is there a solution for that?

Have you updated the app? If not try updating the app. If not try clearing the cache on both devices. I think that happens due to keep disconnecting and connecting. But not sure. Try the above method and let me know.
