why galaxy tab a7 (2020) doesn't have edge screen feature?

Galaxy tab a7 comes with one ui version 2.5 but with no edge screen feature 

I would really love to have this handy feature on my device

Sad to see samsung didn't include it in the newly launched galaxy tab a7 (2020)

It comes with one ui core 2.5 so many feature are not available but it may be available in future through update.

I feel samsung is just creating artificial hype so people buy their higher end products coz their higher end tabs have this feature out of the box
tab a7 is their latest model,hardware is also powerful enough to handle many features like edge screen and dex mode which r not provided.
now I see why many people prefer custom roms over stock
I do hope samsung provides us this features in future updates and not keep it exclusive for their premium products
