Tab S8 turned out to be a Total Disaster for me....

I previously owned a Tab S7, later gave that to my sis for her studies. Then bought a MI Pad 5, but then I realised Sd860 with worst Android skin on the earth couldn't get me the experience what I used to get from S7. The cheap price along with a decent processor and a great display compelled me to go with the pad 5. But I couldn't live with it for long. I worked hard to get a Tab S8, finally after horrific 2 months of pad 5, finally I could switch to my favourite Samsung Tab S series. Thought S8 will be an ideal successor to my Tab S7. BUT, it turned out to be a DISASTER. I am a casual user who uses Tab mainly for watching web series and some serious gaming (BGMI) on weekends. I was excited to own a SD 8 Gen 1 device, so I could play my games very well. But here comes the worst part, this Tab can't even play BGMI/PUBG at 60 fps stable. 90 FPS is not even on the cards. It literally heats like an oven, very hard to touch the top part. Battery backup with gaming is 4-4.30hrs. The Tab is just 5 days old, I don't know what to do. Now I hate myself for not going with Ipad pro/air 5 with m1. I spent 65k on this Tab with 45W charger. Some one please HELP me. I'm totally depressed. PLEASE HELP.... PLEASE. Is there any way to return this device? Bought from Reliance digital.

Just return it if possible. And buy ipad pro with that money..

Unfortunately, No return option in India. They'll replace the device if any hardware damages. How can I prove the device is faulty?

Explain your issues such as heating issues and others you are facing
Their engineers will inspect your device and replace it

Get a replacement if Reliance digital allows it or get it checked at a service center. SD 8 Gen 1 does have heating issues, but I haven't heard about the Tab S8 heating. Could be a faulty unit. That happens sometimes.

Reliance is asking DOA certificate, tomorrow I'll visit the service centre, hope they accept my concern. :(
