Samsung notes in tab s8 plus

There should be a function in samsung notes to take input only from s-pen and not at all from hand touch to avoid any accidental touches( which is very disgusting even after turning off finger drawing and locking the zoom).Samsung notes should also accept only horizontal sliding gesture for getting a new page in horizontal page setting . Currently in horizontal page setting Samsung notes accept vertical sliding by fingers to switch to a new page  which make its palm rejection weaker. Samsung should also try to strengthen its palm rejection . Hoping for Samsung to address these concerns and make Samsung notes more user friendly . Samsung should be empathetic to it's loyal customers who instead of buying an iPad went for Samsung tablets, both of which costs the same.

This feature is already available, go to menu while taking note and click on finger drawing off.

Please read the post carefully. I said that even after switching off the finger drawing, palm rejection is not that good in samsung notes as accidental touches move the page here and there. Comparitively noteshelf provide better palm rejection than samsung notes

Maybe its happening with you, but on my Tab S7 FE I find palm rejection quite good. And after turning on zoom lock, page can only be moved using two finger, so why it wobbling with your palm, i don't know! Also you said page Samsung Notes accept vertical sliding to switch to new page even when you turn on horizontal page, but on my tab when i use horizontal page, new page can only be add by sliding horizontally.

just try to slide your finger slightly in a vertical direction on samsung notes it will move the page a bit though not switch to a new page (i wish i could ahow u video) .i regularly take notes and generally while lifting my hands after writing and then again putting my hands to write ,the page shifts a little ( though it return to the same place again) due to accidental touch. this does not happens regularly but every 1 in 5 times

Ya its shifts slightly even when you slide vertically, but i think the page don't move vertically , it just shifts slightly horizontally (because we can't move out finger perfectly vertical), same is the case when you slide horizontally in vertical mode and also animation is also a little part in it. Maybe its a big problem for you but for me there are other problems that more important like font style. Samsung should listen to its loyal customer.

yes u got my problem exaclty. the same problem is not there in noteshelf but noteshelf has many other bugs which make it unfit for use

Samsung Notes is much better than Noteshelf, But i dont think your problem will disturb you while writing because it happen only when we do it with finger, with palm this problem is pretty much not there (at least palm rejection is good enough to distinguish between finger tip and palm).

Hey brother please share this from your end on Samsung Members or anywhere you want. I also highlighted your problem.

Some important request from a daily Samsung Notes user to make Samsung Notes best notes taking app out there on any platform. (Even better than Ipad's Goodnotes 5)

Should be done immediately 

1. Option to change fonts style of typed notes along with a sufficient font library and import font functionality. (How could Samsung forgot that in a notes app)

2. Allow shapes to be erased by eraser. (If i want to erase a part of squares, currently i can't do it).

3. Allowtyped text to beselected using lasso tool and then scale or shift (selecting text to change font size & color and making a text box everytime to shift text is frustrating)

4. Dotted Line & Dotted Arrow.

5. Transparent Background option for the drawing added using insert drawing tool. For this you need to make changes in PenUp app.

6. Option for Infinity Canvas and Landscape Page. (This feature will be game changer, Goodnotes lacks it & OneNote users will also use S Notes)


Should be considered for future updates 

1. Allow pens to be more customisable like pressure sensitivity and flow. (Add more pens if possible)

2. Bring Favourite Pen button from Pen Tab to Main Bar.

3. Features like Snap to grid along with all options that are available in Precision Tool feature of 'Concepts' App.

4. Multiple Tabs like Good Notes on Ipad. (It will help in switching between notes).

5. Insert Table will be of much help in note taking.

6. Math Box along with feature to easily Insert Mathematics Symbols.

8. Prevent Unwanted Page Shift: When we are in Horizontal Page Mode and swipe finger vertically (and vice versa) page shifts slightly which is annoying. Also in zoom lock mode give the option to disable two finger scroll, sometimes page shift due to accidentally two finger touch.

9. Increase the speed of Shapes detection.

10. Cross-platform: Make a website for S Notes and give the option to atleast view my notes on the web (editing will be much appreciated)
