So, as far as I remember there used to be an option for formatting SD Card as internal storage but recently I've purchased Samasung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and I have installed a 64 GB SD Card in it but I am unable to find the option in settings to format this as internal storage. Any pointers/ help/guide would be helpful.

What do u mean by formating as internal storage
Do u want to format(deleting all files) ur sdcard ??
If so
Then go to setting device care storage click on 3 dot in top right corner and click advanced setting ..
Click on sdcard there u can see the option format which will delete all ur files

Yeah I was going through the literature and it was discontinued after Android 8. I mean this was a pretty coot feature.

This Feature was Discontinued Due to Inconsistent Performance Issues
1)Not Everyone Used the Same SD Card( class 1 SD will be much slower than Class 10 ones ,hence the Performance difference)

2)SD cards get corrupted very easily
