The tab A7 wifi recently got the update with the features of One UI 3.1.1. It also got the September Security patch with it. So this is my review.
Added/Changed Features
1) Pin favourite apps to the side
There is a menu on the right that shows the apps that you have added on the edge panels. This section is always open. You can close it, if you want. It disappears on its own when YouTube watch content. Steps to activate this are- Settings< Advanced features< Labs< Turn on Pin your favourite apps. You can close is by clicking on the pin option. To activate it again, slide over to open edge panels, slide to the apps section, click on the three lines and click Pin.
2) Force apps to run in Split screen and pop up view
Some apps like Samsung Members and Instagram do not support split screen or pop up view. To run apps in pop up view and split screen, follow these steps- Settings< Labs< Turn on force apps to run in split screen and pop up view.
3) Black background in app screen
I didn't like this. There is a black background in the app screen.
4) Settings layout changed
5) Size reduced of digital clock on lock screen
The size has reduced a bit
6) Gallery layout changed
7) Sending section changed
The layout of this section has changed a bit
