Guys does anyone's "Close all" button work in the recent tab? because it just redirects me to the home screen but all apps are still open.

Thank you for contacting Samsung Gulf Electronics.

We understand that the “Close all” button in the recent apps screen is not working as expected and is redirecting you to the home screen while apps appear to remain open.

Kindly note that on recent One UI versions, tapping “Close all” may close background processes, but some apps can still appear in the recent apps list for faster reopening. This is part of system optimization and does not necessarily mean the apps are actively consuming resources.

Please try the following steps:
• Restart your device and test the function again.
• Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Memory > Clean now to clear background apps.
• Ensure your device is updated via Settings > Software update > Download and install.
• If the issue persists, test the behavior in Safe Mode to check if a third-party app is affecting performance.

If apps remain actively running or the device shows performance issues, please contact us for further support:

Thank you for helping me out, but the problem is still there.
I tried restarting my tablet, but nothing has changed.

But thanks for reaching out, and kindly explain how to boot "Safe Mode".

Thank you for your response.

To boot your device into Safe Mode, please follow the steps below:

  1. Press and hold the Power button
  2. Tap and hold on “Power off” until the Safe Mode prompt appears
  3. Tap “Safe Mode” to restart your device in Safe Mode
  4. Once in Safe Mode, please check if the issue still occurs. If the problem does not appear, it may be caused by a third-party application installed on the device.
  5. To exit Safe Mode, simply restart your device normally.

Thank you for your update.

If the Power button is not responding, you may try accessing Safe Mode using the hardware key method:

  1. Turn off the device completely (if possible)
  2. Turn it on again, and once the Samsung logo appears, press and hold the Volume Down button until the device finishes booting
  3. The device should then start in Safe Mode.
  4. If you are still unable to access Safe Mode, please ensure that the Power button is functioning properly, as this may affect normal operations.

If the issue persists, kindly contact us through the following link for further assistance:
