  • i can't access file manager I get this message. It worked before the last update 3 days ago. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

long press on file manager - click on app info - then click on permissions allow all the permissions.

First of all, I feel sorry to hear that you have experienced this anomaly.

The following steps may solve your issue:
Long press on the My file app icon, in the menu click on app info (same can be achieved by goinginto settings and go to apps then my files)> click on storage > clear cache and data.

If the issue is still persistent then let me know.

This error is because Google made a change with Android 11 that no longer allows you to access the contents of the Android data folder
