Suggestions1. Audio Disconnecting on Earbuds
I own the Samsung Buds 3 Pro and Buds 2. While making or receiving video calls, the earbuds stay connected to the phone, but the audio frequently disconnects. The other person's voice starts playing through the phone's speaker instead. In quiet places, this can be managed, but in noisy environments, it's extremely frustrating. The sound from the speaker is not always clear, and increasing the speaker volume isn’t practical due to surroundings. I often have to put the other person on hold and repeatedly disconnect and reconnect the earbuds to restore the audio. While this sometimes works, there are instances where I have to disconnect the call entirely and redial, which is both inconvenient and embarrassing.
2. Custom Equalizer Needs a Major Fix
Many of us enjoy listening to a variety of music, and everyone has unique preferences for equalizer settings. While Samsung provides an Equalizer option, it doesn’t enhance the audio quality as expected. Instead, it muffles the sound output. Leaving the Equalizer on default delivers better sound quality, but even slight adjustments cause a noticeable drop in sound clarity. I’ve been facing this issue for months. Although the OneUI 6.1.1 update has slightly improved it, a significant fix is still needed to make the feature more effective.
3. A Default App Lock Feature is Essential
Samsung, it’s high time you offer a default app lock feature. While Secure Folder is a good option, it creates a disconnect between regular apps and those moved into the Secure Folder. It also takes up extra storage space. In everyday situations, such as when loved ones borrow our phones to make a call or check photos, it’s difficult to maintain privacy in today’s socially connected world. Our devices often contain personal content, such as private messages, photos, or even adult jokes or memes, which we may not want to share. A built-in app lock feature would help us safeguard specific apps and maintain peace of mind.
4. Real-Time Data Monitoring Feature is Missing
Even low-budget Chinese smartphones have offered real-time data monitoring for years. This feature continuously displays download and upload speeds in the notification panel or quick settings bar. It’s surprising that Samsung devices lack such a basic yet essential feature. Including real-time data monitoring would greatly enhance the user experience.
5. Dark Icons for the Dark theme
Many enjoy the benefits of a darker interface. A dark theme can be easier on the eyes, especially in low-light conditions. It also contributes to a visually appealing aesthetic for many users. Complementing this with similarly dark icons creates a more cohesive and immersive experience. This can further enhance the visual appeal and improve usability. A consistent dark mode across all elements contributes to a more polished and satisfying user experience. Many appreciate these small details that complete the overall design.
6. The front camera doesn't really do a great job with video calls, it's too noisy in low light.
Enhanced low-light performance is crucial for video calls. A clear image is always appreciated, especially in dimly lit environments. Improving the front camera's noise reduction capabilities would greatly benefit users. This would allow for better communication and a more enjoyable video call experience. Clearer video calls in low light would be a significant improvement. Many people rely on video calls for personal and professional connections. A better quality front camera would undoubtedly enhance these interactions. Therefore, investing in low-light performance is a worthwhile endeavor.
