The bar's design could be enhanced by adopting a dynamic approach, similar to Apple's Dynamic Island, allowing it to expand and temporarily conceal lock screen shortcut icons when new live activities begin and expand itself to show more details if needed. When multiple live activities are active concurrently, they should prioritize display order rather than stacking vertically. For instance, if music is playing and another activity starts, the music activity should yield its prominent position to the new activity upon pausing or stopping, then subsequently reposition itself below.
The current One UI 7 Now bar is satisfactory, but further refinements to animations and broader app compatibility would be beneficial.
