I'm a Samsung user from the S23 and I'm writing this with my S25. And here are some suggestions or missing things that i found in my Samsung device for making samsung oneui uniquely special...
1. Samsung music and spotify fuse:- Already explained in my last post.
2. Applock:- one of the most demanding missing feature is os integrated applock. For extended security for personal data or app data, the Applock is a key feature of an OS.
3. Battery icon:- The battery icon in the latest build of oneui 8 beta/oneui 7 is not eye pleasing. It's not symmetrically equal with the all other icons on the notification panel. The icon hits differently to the eyes that the whole panal wants us to look at the battery icon only because it is not symmetrical with the other icons. So please change that to any other icon or on the default android 16 icon.
4. Real time network speed:- Not everyone wants that feature but most of the users are using the 3rd party app for that and even all other brands providing this feature in their all phones. So for more productivity you consider to provide the feature and it'll also increase the theme of oneui about customization.
5. Clock widgets:- According to me it's the most required and necessary feature. Because till now we don't have many clock widgets. We only have 2 option analog and digital and both are very simple. Just give us some unique watch widget option like lockscreen. Like we have many options on lockscreen for watch. Like that please provide some unique watch widgets for home screen like all other brands giving (NOTHING, ONEPLUS etc.)
6. Frosted glass blur effect:- Everyone is talking about liquid glass after apple launched it. Some are trolling that and some are loving that. But in my opinion something is good in that and something is bad. So it's good for samsung to teach from the trollers that what they hate and love about the liquid glass. The most is the Blur.
So i suggest Samsung team to develop Frosted glass design with the gental blur effect so it'll be uniquely oneui.
Themes are just for outer look. But the default system effect will work all over the os. In the app like Samsung internet, Gallery, Files, Toggles and Buttons, Camera etc.
