Dear Samsung Team,

I am writing to suggest a crucial security feature for Galaxy devices. Currently, the 'Lock network and security' feature only requires a PIN/Password to power off the device when it is on the lock screen. However, if the phone is already unlocked, anyone can easily turn it off without any verification.

I have personally experienced the consequences of this—my phone was snatched from me while I was on a call and had it held to my ear, and because it was unlocked, the perpetrator could turn it off immediately. It would be a significant security improvement if Samsung introduced an option to obligatorily require a PIN, pattern, or password to power off or restart the device, even when it is unlocked. This would prevent unauthorized shutdowns if a phone is snatched or taken while actively in use.

I hope the development team will consider adding this feature in a future One UI update.
