I would like to propose an improvement regarding scrolling performance in One UI 8.5 on Samsung Galaxy A36 5G.
During regular usage across system applications (such as Settings and the app drawer) as well as third-party applications (including browsers and social platforms), the scrolling experience is generally smooth. However, there are intermittent micro-stutters and minor frame drops that affect motion consistency.
These issues are not severe but are noticeable in the form of slight interruptions in motion continuity, inconsistent frame pacing, and occasional jerk-like effects during fast or continuous scrolling.
The behavior becomes more apparent under specific conditions, such as rapid vertical scrolling through long lists, prolonged continuous scrolling without pauses, and transitions between UI sections while scrolling.
Additionally, a more pronounced drop in smoothness is observed while interacting with the notification panel or control center. This suggests a potential area for optimization related to refresh rate management and frame rendering consistency.
It is recommended that Samsung further refine frame pacing and dynamic refresh rate handling to ensure consistently smooth scrolling across all UI layers and interaction scenarios.
