I have been raising this issue since the release of One UI 6.0, and I would like to formally submit my complaint again.
Samsung needs to provide better font consistency across the entire UI. In One UI 7.0, the default font behavior was changed, but the selected fonts are only applied properly within Samsung’s own apps. In most third-party applications which make up nearly 80% Apps in Phone different font usually Roboto is still used.
This creates a very inconsistent and unpleasant user experience. After spending a significant amount of money around ₹1.3 lakh on a premium smartphone, this level of inconsistency is not acceptable. It completely ruins the overall UI experience.
I have been reporting this issue for the past two years. Each time, your team responds that my feedback has been noted and will be forwarded, but the issue remains unresolved. I first reported this in 2023, and now it is 2026—yet there has been no improvement.
At this point, I would prefer a clear and honest response. If this issue is not going to be fixed, please state it directly. As a customer, I should not have to compromise on basic UI consistency after paying a premium price.
If this continues, I will seriously consider switching to another brand, such as Apple, for my next device. Customers should not have to “request” basic experience quality after paying for a flagship product.
I hope Samsung takes this feedback seriously and works toward improving UI consistency across all apps.
