Some of us just use the phone for normal tasks like browsing & video. Please add a 'light mode' in processing speed settings reducing the CPU load to about 70-80% with 120 Hz refresh rate. This is different from Power Saving mode.

The refresh rate reduces to 60hz in Power Saving mode. We don't want this to happen. Just a light mode with high refresh rate which will save battery

Try
Turn ON Adaptive Battery and
Processing Speed optimised in Battery Section.
No other option available in S22 Series.

That is not a solution. I am aware of this. What is needed is 120hz for normal tasks with less CPU load. I can easily get more battery if they either provide a lite mode or have the option to enable adaptive refresh rate on power saving mode

Why would CPU load be needed to set to 70-80 percent when we are using the phone for normal tasks? I mean, CPU load increases with increase in number of tasks. Capping the max capacity will not improve battery life. Battery life will only improve by offloading of unnecessary tasks that is done already by samsung. What i believe is that they need to increase the standby time of the devices

Many used cases do not game and normal browsing and videos do not need CPU at full loads. Why do mid range phones have better battery life even with 120hz? Their processors work at 60-70% capacity of flagship processors and still deliver better battery. Samsung should provide an option to reduce CPU cycles while providing 120hz for these normal tasks.

Snapdragon 8gen1 has turned out to be **bleep****ty cause if Samsung nodes. The standby time can be increased only so much. Check out Snap 8+ gen 1 battery efficiency. Even the fold 4 with large screen and a second screen on the outside easily beats S22U with a larger battery due to better standby achieved from a more efficient processor.

Samsung has again given us a shoddy processor.
