Grey backgrounds of shades especially light shades and overall display colors of all shades looks whitish/greenish in S 22  ultra in lowest brightness in a dark room/ using at night conditions. Color reproduction especially at 120 hz is worst when brightness is set to zero, spoiling the experience of using the phone . Setting the phone to 60hz somewhat improves the display color output . But again spoils the overall experience . Tried 2-3 s22 ultra in dark room in lowest brightness all showed this tint behavior . Also visible in WhatsApp dark theme mode ,when you use adaptive refresh then the screen looks like a transparent greenish / whitish layer is added . Samsung should handel this by calibration of colors when brightness is set to lowest levels on s22 ultra . Very disappointed by this spoilt experience in a flagship device .  For testing the behavior you can use google news / google pages / any pages having light grey / shades of grey. Keep phone in lowest brightness . Attached sample test image which all can check on their s22 ultra in adaptive refresh mode in lowest screen brightness and dark room / environment .

No, just found out its a wide range issue with most phones having 120 hertz . Was using one plus before it had absolutely brilliant display compared to s22 ultra . It had 120 hertz too and they calibrated the colors well in 0 brightness level conditions .

This issue with the Galaxy S22 Ultra's display at low brightness in dark environments is a known concern. The greenish/whitish tint, especially noticeable at 120Hz, is likely due to OLED panel calibration. Similar to how a taxi service needs fine-tuning for a smooth ride, the phone's display would benefit from better calibration. Lowering to 60Hz does help slightly, but compromises the smoothness. It's disappointing in a flagship device, and Samsung should ideally address this with a software update to improve color accuracy at low brightness levels.
