Feature Request

[Anzer_Ahmed]

Hi Samsung Team,

I am a Galaxy S24 series user in India. As we approach the official stable rollout of One UI 9.0, I am writing to request two highly demanded features that the Galaxy S24 community around the world is eagerly waiting for:

1. Notification Highlights (AI Summary): We highly appreciate the inclusion of "Now Nudge" and "Now Brief" in Beta 2. Since the S24 series handles complex Galaxy AI tasks effortlessly, please officially enable the Notification Highlights feature to help us manage and prioritize our alerts efficiently.
2. Camera Horizontal Lock (Horizon Steady): The hardware inside the S24 series is fully capable of processing this, and references to the feature are already present within the device's firmware framework. Please turn this toggle on for the S24 series rather than keeping it hidden or exclusive to newer flagships.
3. AI Scan document: A new scan document feature was introduced on Galaxy S26 Series and later backported to Galaxy S25 Series through OneUI 8.5, but didn't backported to Galaxy S24 & S23 Series, it's a very useful feature and is fast and effective. Its not that complex, So I think there shouldn't be any reason to gatekeep this feature from Galaxy S24 Series.

The hardware on the S24 series is more than powerful enough to support both of these features. Please listen to your global user base and include them in the upcoming stable One UI 9.0 release.

Thank you.

Features available on Galaxy S26 & S25 Series

Currently on Galaxy S24 Series, those features are missing

Yes you are right samsung add these two features and one feature more in bixby auto detection add these feature..

[Rishit_]

Exactly!
Samsung plzzzzz add these and plzz do some good performance fixes too. My s24 exynos lags every minute when swiping down control panel and sometimes in ui too

Now nudge is there but not working. Any body working?

[Hardik_888]

No

I doubt Samsung will actually give us those features.

Lots of Galaxy S24 users in Korea, the US, and elsewhere are asking Samsung to bring the newest features to their phones.

When the S24 launched with AI tools like the eraser and Circle to Search, S23 users pushed for them on the community forums. Samsung listened and brought those features to the S23 via an update.

They could do it because the hardware was capable, and users spoke up.

The S24 series has the right hardware too, so there's no technical reason to hold back. That’s why people want Samsung to stop gatekeeping these features and just include them in the stable OneUI 9 update.

Yes it's very required two settings and also one feature add APP LOCK for Galaxy Devices

[Anzer_Ahmed]

App Lock is expected to come on OneUI 9.5.

OneUI 9.5 will be introduced with S27 Series

All these 3 Suggested features can easily handled by S24, Samsung please add these
