When an Email received on Samsung Email app is deleted from expanding the particular mail on Notification Panel list, the mail is deleted while staying on the Notification Panel list. However, it's not the same for deleting a text message received on Samsung Messages, which immediately dismisses the Notification Panel and shows the screen behind it.
I hate this. The delete event should not close the notification panel. Samsung should not interrupt the current user screen. Delete event must be handled differently.
