Ui has frame drops.

Volume slider position should be optional for left/right and also able to adjust the height of it.

Gesture without Gesture hints has very small trigger area so it's difficult to use.

Overall ui corner radius should be equal to the corner radius of the screen.

Folders in edge panel have distortion on the edges.

Although as you said gestures area problems already improved
and you can get widder area also .
