Allow even-sized widgets to be centered on odd-sized grids and vice-versa

At least the first party Samsung apps, like Weather, should allow their 2x1 widgets to be centered on a 5xN grid by expanding them horizontally while retaining the font and other UI elements' sizes. See how funny the widgets look on a 5x6 grid: 

I am unable to use the 5x6 grid size because of this. 5x6 grid has always been my go-to and if I am not wrong, the One UI 6 weather widget did allow horizontal expansion.
