Secure Folder
Hi Samsung Team,
I’m writing this post as a humble request to please add an "App Lock" feature in your One UI system.
Currently, only the Lock Screen Security is available, but there is no option to lock individual apps with a separate password or biometric setting.
Yes, I understand there is the Secure Folder, but:
It works more like a Second Space or a separate phone environment.
It's not practical for quickly locking/unlocking individual apps like WhatsApp, Gallery, or Banking apps.
The use case is completely different.
We need:
A dedicated App Lock feature
With an option to set a separate password or fingerprint for app security.
Not tied to the same password used for the lock screen.
Other brands have had this feature for years, and it's very useful for maintaining privacy and app-level security.
So, this is a sincere request to Samsung Developers: Please add this feature ASAP in the upcoming updates!

Secure Folder
Other brands have had this feature for years: correct.
And its very useful for maintaining privacy and app-level security: false, completely false.
App locks just provide half privacy only they just asks password on the selected app ui only.
