Am having issues lately after one ui 4 update that i can't move things into secure folder anymore in particular pictures and videos

Hi, are you trying while secure folder is hidden? Do you see some error message while trying to move the files?

No am just trying to add pictures like i always do and yes it just says it couldnt move items

I only face this issue when I want to transfer files from Whatsapp pictures folder, but if I move pictures in other folder, then to secure folder there will be no issue.

I found a solution that i have to move the folder itself to another place then move that folder for example whatsapp media to maybe download an example for it to work

I have the same problem, only from WhatsApp images folder. Also trying to move out of secret folder has stopped working. @Samsung, can we get a fix 🙏

I got a solution it stupid but it says the whatsapp doesnt follow google rules and what not and says to pretty much move the media of whatsapp in my files outside to different folder

According to technicians report, WhatsApp is not following Google's recommendations and is storing Images(Video, etc) in the '/Android/' subfolder. When a file in the '/Android/' subfolder is moved to another user space, the file will can deleted according to the Google concept. Therefore, it is normal operation as it does not support moving files in the '/Android/' subfolder between users. If you need to move a file, you can move the file to a folder other than a subfolder of '/Android/' (eg, Download or Media, etc.) and then move it to the secure folder.
