I received my SBI Intouch Debit Card yesterday, and as I was trying to set it up for NFC payments on my S21+, I get a message saying card could not be validated. Apparently the card issuer didn't approve my request. I previously had added my mom's Axis card and that was such a smooth process. I've contacted SBI customer care as well as my branch only to be responded with a "Everything's fine on our end Sir, ☺️" This is the same with GPay as well, so I'm definitely leaning towards my bank not validating my card. What should I do?
To avoid fraud transactions banks nowadays are sending new cards with many services disabled.. So if you want to use them you need to activate them yourself... then you may use them. Select NFC and define limit and that may work for you.
Be it SBI customer care or HDFC bank customer care... none of them dont know proper resolution for this issue... Same issue I had faced and got this solution luckily myself...
There is an issue with the Plugin Module at SBI for IN Touch debit card when we try to register it on Samsung Pay. My relative works at SBI, he informed me. I have the same card and S21+, every other card seems to work except this one. I'm planning to get My Card Debit Card to see if that registers on Samsung Pay.
