Samsung PayThank you for sharing your suggestion and taking the time to provide your valuable feedback.
We truly appreciate your interest in Samsung Wallet and your proposal regarding broader accessibility without regional restrictions. We understand how consistent access to digital passes and cards can be especially important for users such as students who frequently move between different locations.
Kindly note that Samsung Wallet features, supported cards, and services are currently subject to regional regulations, local banking policies, and partnerships, which is why availability and functionality may vary by country. These requirements are essential to ensure security, compliance, and proper service operation in each region.
That said, your feedback is highly valued and plays an important role in shaping future improvements. Suggestions like yours are regularly reviewed and shared with the relevant teams to help enhance the overall user experience and explore potential expansions where feasible.
Thank you again for your constructive input and for being part of the Samsung community.

Samsung PayThank you for contacting Samsung.
Regarding the error “cannot read SIM” while setting up Samsung Wallet, please note that Samsung Wallet services and card registration are subject to regional availability and require a supported device and a SIM card from a supported Gulf region network.
Kindly follow the steps below:
- Confirm regional compatibility
Ensure you are using a Gulf region SIM card (UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, or Bahrain) from a supported network provider. - Reinsert the SIM card
Power off the device, remove and reinsert the SIM card correctly, then restart the device. - Update device software and Samsung Wallet
Settings > Software update > Download and install
Galaxy Store > Menu > Updates > Update all - Clear Samsung Wallet cache
Settings > Apps > Samsung Wallet > Storage > Clear cache - If you recently traveled outside the Gulf region
Remove non-Gulf SIM cards and restart the device before trying again. - Send an error report
Open Samsung Members > Support > Send feedback > Error reports > Select Samsung Wallet and submit the report after reproducing the issue.
