Accepting payment through Samsung Pay

I don't use Samsung Pay but, before deciding to use it, I wanted to know that except making a payment, can we use it to recieve a payment from someone else, as I could not find it anywhere on the web. If it's possible then please mention the procedure. Thank you.

Yes, you can recieve money in it if you have a UPI bank account registered in it.(Request money/Recieve money feature is available with a registered bank account or with registered wallets like paytm/freecharge etc.)

Can I link Samsung Pay to a debit card (not bank account) and recieve money in it?

No,you can only use debit card for virtual payments like in POS terminals.
