I had seen a thread around a year ago on this exact issue. A moderator had written that the developers will be looking into it. Is there any progress on this?
It's kind of absurd that we can't track sports such as football, golf, etc from the watch. In most cases, it's quite impractical to track this from the phone, and for some reason, sports tracking is there on phone, but not on Galaxy Wear! That's a huge deal breaker. I'm coming from an android Wear watch (Huawei watch 2) and on that i could track everything straight from the watch and didn't have to carry my phone around.
I think this is kind of a big deal and we should put more pressure on getting this resolved!
