Using a 3rd party device or Samsung Galaxy watch. The S10 was the last phone with a HRM built-in. Or just use any so called heart rate monitor app on playstore that will use the camera

So this S21 is actually a down grade i should say. NO LED notification . No heart rate measure. No Charger and what more did we lose ? Disappointed on this S21 and Samsung as a company.

If you have an existing charger that still works, it's not a loss. Heart rate monitor is a feature that's not used as often. LED notification is replaced by always on display. There is no fm radio, no 3.5mm jack, no micro SD card slot. If you want all of that there is the A-series

Why are you saying LED is replaced by Always On Display if it has always been there on the previous phones that had LED Notification? Does your Always on Display flash Red when the battery is low? Does it light Green for my whatsapp or blue for missed calls or sms?

Always on display can show all notifications. Especially if you select tap to show for 10 seconds. Just tap your screen and you can see.

There is also edge lighting for notifications and set it to colours for various apps. No need for led notifications

Your clearly missing the point. LED will inform you of different notification without touching the phone, by just looking at your phone from a distance you would know what's going on. Edge notification is useless, it only flash once together with the tone and vibration.

So what's the point of discontinuing LED and claim there's something better? Which is useless

We recieve multiple notifications on our phones so the LED light is pretty useless. It will flash all colours and since we pick up our phones all the time. Always on display is a better way of displaying the notifications that you have received. Always on is also meant to be on all the time hence you would be able to see the notifications without touching the phone. Just that there are different implementations to accommodate the those who care about battery life. You will see the time, battery, and notifications

LED was there best notification. Always on display has always been there and and useless but it good that we can choose how we want it or switch it OFF .

So Why did you keep LED and simply add a function of switching it ON or Off if we want?

With edge to edge screens you where can you put it plus with adaptive refresh rate screens, you can't put led notifications unless you put it next to the rear camera
