I joined the global challenge for September today, but why does not Samsung Health app add the past 10 days data to the challenge?

S-Health starts counting from the day we join the challenge.. that is why, it is recommended to join on the 1st of every month :)

Yeah, but what if you forget to join on the 1st?

I can understand stopping count when people leave the challenge. But it makes no sense to count from the start date.

may be, by doing this, they want us to remember to visit S-Health, otherwise we might not care to open the app ;)

Well, challenges are the only thing that need the app. For everything else there is a widget.
