The energy shifted the moment we stepped into the venue. Multiple Galaxy Community Connect roll-up banners lined the way, setting the tone before we even reached the top floor. And once those doors opened — it was a full Galaxy takeover.
The ballroom was transformed into a true Galaxy experience. Before settling in, we stepped outside to capture the city lights of San Francisco — Galaxy style, of course — alongside members from 17 different countries. There’s something powerful about meeting people who share the same mindset and passion. Reconnecting with familiar faces from Korea, Australia, Japan, Colombia, Mexico, the UK, Germany, and the USA made it even more special.
The community keeps growing, but the connection feels personal every time.
One of the standout moments was the epic Galaxy Fan Face Board. Members took photos using the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, instantly printed in customized styles, and placed them on the wall — creating a global mosaic of Samsung Members. With Galaxy AI Portrait Studio adding its creative touch, it wasn’t just a photo wall; it was a statement of who we are as a community.
Then orientation officially began. The three-day roadmap was unveiled, giving us a glimpse of what’s ahead at Samsung Galaxy Unpacked. A warm and thoughtful welcome from David Moon, Head of Influencer Marketing, emphasized the importance of connection and honest feedback in shaping better experiences. That message mattered — this isn’t just attendance; it’s participation.
A creative AI-generated video walked us through the upcoming days in the most engaging way — light, clever, and genuinely exciting.
The Connect initiative activity was another highlight. We had to find people matching fun descriptions — someone using the S25 Ultra, someone who flew over 15 hours, someone who wears jeans, someone with a beard, someone who uses Galaxy AI daily. It was a smart way to break the ice and build global friendships quickly — and it worked.
We also received a beautiful San Francisco-inspired notebook — a thoughtful touch that captured the essence of the city hosting this incredible gathering.
Later in the evening, we were introduced to our managers and team allocations. Our team manager, Celia, instantly made everyone feel comfortable — approachable, organized, and genuinely supportive. That leadership sets the tone for the days ahead.
The night wrapped up with amazing dinner, drinks, conversations, and plenty of candid moments. Jerome and I had a great time connecting deeper, sharing perspectives, and making new friends from around the world.
The excitement in the room was undeniable. Tomorrow is the big day. The countdown to #GalaxyUnpacked is almost over — and I’m ready to experience every second of it.
