Questions
I would like to suggest bringing back the classic lock screen effects that were available in older Samsung devices. Those effects had a unique visual identity and provided a more engaging and dynamic unlock experience compared to the current, more minimal animations in recent One UI versions.
In One UI 8.5 / 9, the lock screen feels more simplified, but it has lost some of the character and customization that earlier versions offered. Effects such as ripple, light, particle, and other interactive animations made the lock screen feel more responsive and premium.
Reintroducing these classic effects—either as optional features or within the customization settings—would greatly improve user experience. It would also give users the freedom to choose between modern minimal animations and the more expressive legacy styles.
Additionally, allowing deeper customization (intensity, speed, touch response) could make the feature even more appealing for both new and long-time Samsung users.
This change would not only enhance personalization but also bring back a nostalgic and distinctive element that many users still appreciate.
Thank you for considering this suggestion.
