Bluetooth icon on status bar

The Bluetooth icon doesn't shows up on the status bar when Bluetooth is turned on and the phone is connected to a Bluetooth device?

I have to swipe down the status bar to check if my Bluetooth earphones are connected. I also have to tap on Bluetooth to check the details.

It's very inconvenient.

I think this is a bug.

It's intentional to keep the status bar clean.

They should atleast keep the option to turn that on or off.
Sorry but I have to disagree, this doesn't keep the status bar clean but increases inconvenience.

Yeah the point is customization . They Should have given a option for enabling or disabling the feature.
