Samsung has finally pulled the covers from its first foldable smartphone after years of leaks and rumours. It should be noted that Samsung could become the first smartphone maker to launch a handset with a foldable screen if the rumours early-2019 launch for the device turns out to be true.
During its developers' conference, Samsung has revealed some of the key specifications about the planned foldable device, including its display’s pixel density, screen size as well as aspect ratio in folded and unfolded modes. The pixel density of Samsung’s foldable smartphone is a standard 420 ppi and when the device is folded, it offers 840 x 1960 of resolution while it increases to 1536 x 2152 when unfolded.
