My device has been in service center for more than 6 months for different issues. I can relate with you and every time they have responded back saying PHONE WILL NOT BE REPLACED AND ONLY REPAIRED AND THEY ARE DOING ME A FAVOUR. This time also if they repair, I am definitely going to take a legal course of action. The customer service is their duty and not a favour to me.
